Free Form L-Glutamine

L-Glutamine is a free-form amino acid, the most abundant amino acid found in the skeletal muscles. It can be converted to glutamic acid, which is a precursor to the important inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid). L-glutamine also has a molecular structure that allows it to pass easily through the blood/brain barrier to nourish brain tissues. Finally, this amino acid also plays an important role in ammonia disposal.
