Quercetin is a flavonol (a subclass of flavonoids) and is a potent antioxidant providing cardiovascular protection by reducing oxidation of LDL cholesterol. Quercetin is one-half of the rutin molecule, another flavonol, and is the more active antioxidant. Gluten free. Vegan and vegetarian.
